Ashridge is a leading international business school based in Hertfordshire, England. It has been a place of executive learning and development for over 50 years, having been founded in 1959 by visionary leaders from organisations including Shell, Guinness and Unilever. The site of Ashridge itself dates back to 13th Century when a monastery was established.

Ashridge employs 400 staff of which 90 are full time faculty, nearly a quarter of who are from outside the UK and over a third are women. Ashridge faculty are not traditional business academics – the majority of them additionally have extensive international business experience, enabling them to become fully involved with the everyday issues and challenges faced by clients and individual participants.

Ashridge delivers its services all over the world and has representatives in many locations including Germany, Benelux, Turkey, Sweden, Dubai and China.

Customised executive education programmes Ashridge is a leading provider of programmes designed and delivered for specific organisations. It works with over 100 international clients from around the world including the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Electrolux, Sinopec, Alfa Laval and Barclaycard.

Ashridge Consulting Ashridge is one of the only business schools in the world to have its own consulting arm. Ashridge Consulting is a niche organisation development consultancy, specialising in strategy, leadership and change. Its clients include Nokia, the National Trust, the Department of Health and Fujifilm.

Open executive education programmes Ashridge currently offers 29 open enrolment programmes, which are attended by individuals from different organisations and countries. The programmes cover a wide range of subjects in the following areas: General Management and Leadership Development, Business Skills and Commercial Acumen, People Skills and Leadership Excellence, Strategy, Sales and Change Management.

Attendance on open programmes, combined with assessed assignments and a strategic project can lead to the Ashridge Masters in Management (MSc).

Qualification programmes Ashridge runs an MBA and Executive MBA. In addition, it also provides specialist Masters programmes in Management, Sustainability and Responsibility, Executive Coaching, Organisation Change and a Doctorate in Organisation Change plus a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Coaching and Organisation Development Supervision.

Ashridge is a member of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is one of the few business schools in the world to be accredited by all the main executive education bodies:

Supporting its approach to sustainable and responsible business, Ashridge was involved in designing and was one of the first schools to be a signatory in 2007 to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education.

Virtual Learning Underpinning Ashridge’s approach to learning is Virtual Ashridge which offers online insights and resources that can be tailored to the individual organisation. Ashridge designs specific versions of Virtual Ashridge to support executive education, consultancy and qualifications activities.

Research Practical and robust research is at the core of Ashridge’s work and is driven primarily by the organisational and business issues facing its clients. Ashridge has a number of specialist research centres focusing on Executive Development, Strategic Management, Business and Sustainability, Leadership and Action Research. Ashridge faculty publish research reports and business books on a wide range of subjects and contribute regularly to international titles such as the Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times.

Conference Venue Ashridge is a world class conference centre, ideal for meetings and exhibitions in close proximity to London. For six consecutive years, conference clients have nominated Ashridge Best UK Management Training Centre in the Meetings & Incentive Travel industry awards for excellence of service and product.

With award winning dining facilities, Ashridge has 15 well equipped conference rooms, suitable for groups of between 10 – 250, over 50 syndicate rooms and 190 en suite bedrooms. There is also a gym on site with swimming pool, squash and tennis courts.
