As programme director for the Ashridge Masters in Organisational Change and Doctorate in Organisational Change, Kathleen seeks to support practitioners in research that critically examines organisational reality and explores how consultants can make a genuine contribution. She is interested in enabling individual learning in the service of organisational change and innovation.
Kathleen's academic practice is firmly rooted in her experience as a leader and consultant. She has worked across market sectors and cultures, in private, not for profit and public organisations. Her work includes developing executive teams, designing and delivering development programmes for leaders and consultants, supporting organisations through change and renewal.
Kathleen has an MA in Adult Education and has retained a strong interest in the field. She continues to look for innovative approaches to learning in organisations, integrating action and reflection. She holds a Post Graduate teaching qualification and obtained an MBA from the Open University. Her PhD research focussed on a relational approach to consulting in organisations. Kathleen has trained extensively in structured creative problem solving methods and is a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Kathleen is Belgian and her native language is Dutch. She is also fluent in English and French.
